Life Time Oil Filters??????

So reading Diesel Power this morning i see an add for life time oil filters they are offered for the 03-07 6.0s and 08-10 6.4s and for the 2011 6.7's as well.

whats yours guys take on something like this. Could it be possible that this really could be the last oil filter you ever have to buy for your 6.0, 6.4 or 6.7?

they make these for chevy and dodge as well. I wonder how many people run them.

I would rather buy a new filter. And do it right. Price of a new filter sure beats price of a new motor.

Not worth it imo. What are you going to save $10 an oil change? Not worth the risk

im just wanting yalls input on the idea of it. Im not going to do it. I have warranties that says i cant plus i dont pay for any kind of service for the 1st 100k anyway so why would i want to do this when i can get them for free for the next 85k at the ford house.

I just wanted to see what you guys on here had to say about it.

I don't like reusable filters. How much longer would it take to do an oil change if you have to clean the filter. Ten bucks for a filter that you know works is just to easy.
