Who relatively close to the mid-west is live tuning the 6.0L. I know river city is talking on getting a dyno when they relocate. I have watched beans live tune some 7.3's but never heard of them doing much with the 6.0. Who can I have hook me up with out having to trailor my truck to maryland or North Carolina.

I am in the same boat as you. I would like to get my truck live tuned, later when I have a new turbo(s) and maybe injectors. I have looked into it, and in the Midwest, if you are set on live dyno tuning you are SOL until RCD gets a dyno. You could however rent some dyno time and have it live tuned by them, or better yet have it live tuned on the street or strip. I am not sure where you are located, but another option besides RCD would be KEM. Mike told me that he gets up to the Chicago area fairly regularily and would be willing to live tune at the track and on the street.

A dyno is not required for live tuning. It is just a tool. The same thing can be accomplished street tuning just need to be careful where you make your WOT runs. :D

I think for everyday driving...live tuning should be done on the street...
If you want maximum performance...strap it down to a dyno.

Ya my truck gets drove like maybe 3 or 4 times a month on the road so its more for the track and dyno but I think a Dyno seems to be the safest way to do it.

Oh for sure it's the safest way to set it up for the most power...

But a dyno doesn't simulate a hill at 50 mph...(Street Driving)

To actually take the truck up the actual hill, and have the tuner adjust it, would be the best.
