Livewire Problems

Was messing around with my ccv and started the truck without the maf plugged in and it popped a code. Get on the livewire to clear it and cannot get out of the gauges setting.

It's still allowing me to select the lower portion of the screen (reset min/max, and I believe the record setting) but when I try to exit the gauges it just goes back to them as I pressed somewhere else on the screen. I know the screen isn't messed up because I can double press the top left area (where the exit is) and change what is being monitored but cannot exit.

Plugged the livewire up to my computer to update but cannot update either. So contacted SCT about the problem and got a response in a couple days but haven't been able to follow up with them about troubleshooting or replacing the system.

Had the same model for over 3 years now without any problems until this. I would really like to not be without a monitor as we all know how something can go wrong it a short period of time. Mostly me trying to be cautious.

Has anybody else had a similar problem with their livewire doing this same issue? Not just being able to update but the screen?

Send it to sct, they will repair it or replace it for free most of the time. They told me they had a issue with the touch screens during a certain run. Call them, if yours is in that sn range they will fix you up. I bought several during that time and have sent 5 back for same reason, all replaced with new units free of charge. They are a great company to deal with.

:whs:

They will help you get it fixed. I know they are quite busy, but stay on them. I haven't had a single case where they didn't take care of a customer.
