LL injector

The LL injector is the anti-cackle one that's supposed to be in number 8 hole right?
If it was in another cylinder, #6 in my case, would it present any drivability problems?

the long lead injector is supposed to be in number 8 but yeah it wont hurt anything IMO, why do you ask?

Just wondering. Pulled my valve covers off last night and noticed the LL injector was in #6. It's the first time I had the drivers side valve cover off on this truck. I'm changing the injector O-rings, so when I put them back in I'll put the LL back in #8.

The truck doesn't by any chance have a regulated return? If so, that would eliminate the need for the injector to have to be in the #8 Cylinder. Right?

A LL is the same as the rest of your Inj's..no difference according to Cass @ Full Force.

there is a miniscule difference...but I'll agree with Ryan...there's no noticeable difference in the flow.

The difference is in the actual pilot injection...ie, the distance from the tip of the plunger to the split/bypass groove is longer on the LL injectors...but it's of no real consequence...and a poor attempt by Ford to fix a flaw in the fuel system design/plumbing...

when i had my stock injectors pulled and the 170/100s put in i didn't even have the LL injector.. they were all the same... not that it matters to this thread but i didn't even now what the heck a LL injector was for then...

yeah...most 2000 models (like I have/had) & earlier...never had the LL from the factory...
