so i went to move my truck tonight so i can pull my tractor in and grease and do all that fun stuff, i jumped in and clicked on and wasnt paying attention and got a call so then i just started it so i can get better reception out of shop and it took a good amount of time and i had this problem before but it was due to gpr and glow plugs. now seems to be back.? any comments or tiings to test batt volt 13 not running and 14.5 running. thank you

First how cold was it? Maybe your injectors are getting old and worn. Let it get cold again over night and see if it does the same thing. Test your GP relay with that mutlimeter If its all good and you still have the issue then try plugging it in. That works it very well maybe your injectors

i think thats what it was because it seemed fine once i filled it up 25.5 gallons. i will see this afternoon when i need to use it.

Do yourself a favor and Google Hutch and Harpoon mods. Your truck needs them.

Here is a good write up for a DIY version. I did this about 5 years ago on my truck, I used brake line.
