Ok here's whats going on. I have a 2015 f350 srw 6.7. its been d*****d since 7,000 miles it just rolled 15,000 today. The issue im having is when the truck is in gear and im barely on the go pedal and then let off i get some kind of squeaking from under the hood until the motor comes back to an idle. Im not getting any check engine lights. I cant for the life of me pinpoint the source of the sound. Im assuming if it was turbo related it would make the noise constantly which leads me to think it may be a pulley but like i said i cant pinpoint it to one single source. This may be one of those things where you have to drive it until it breaks then you'll know what was wrong. Any info you guys have would be great. Its drivin me ****in crazy lol. oh and im sorry if this isn't the right place for this post. Mods please move if that's the case.

Exhaust leak at one of the manifolds probably. But yeah, you should have posted in the 6.7 tech area.

Thanks. I tried to but for some reason it said i couldn't post there. If it were a manifold leak would said leak be big enough for soot to come out or just for pressure to escape.

Get up top with a mirror, it is typically the back of the manifolds. You can typically see soot on the heat shield, or on the firewall. They typically break one or both of the rear most studs holding the manifold to the head. It may be covered by warranty for ya if you treat the dealer good. Its a hell of a lot of work....

Yeah i suspect if i have to tear it down that far i will be calling mpd for their 64mm and stainless piping while i do the manifolds.
