Ive found a 2008 6.4 Crew cab king ranch long bed one ton for sale
The truck has 128,000 miles.
Installed it has a dpf delete pipe, a spartian tuner and suncoast tranny.
The truck needs head gaskets, studs and EGR delete.
asking 24k for it because of it needing head gaskets
any thoughts on it?
thanks!

that is very high imo, same truck besides king ranch with 70-80k go in that price range here, plus you can finance with less then 100k if needed

CCLB's are drastically cheaper and easier to find than CCSB's. I see CCLB's around here with 100k miles or less for $20-$24k all day long.

I paid 30k for my ccsb KR with 60k miles on it. It sat in a barn pretty much every night of its life and it was extremely well taken care of. Deals are out there, you just have to look for them. But that truck is not a deal.

I just bought an absolutely flawless 2008 CCSB Dark Copper King Ranch (4" suspension lift, dual stabilizers, 35's and 20" chrome XD diesels, rear captain chairs and console) yesterday with 101k miles for $26,750 from a dealership, including tax and title. I felt like a thief! LOL

Sounds a little high. I would figure out which Suncoast tranny he has. Someone correct me if I am wrong but if he got the fully built one then it is potentially a 8-10K tranny which is probably driving up his asking price. The only thing I would really be worried about is if the heads are good or not. Maybe some other guys can chime in but based on what I have read if you wait to do studs after you have blown the stock HG then there is the chance that the heads will be cracked. If it were me I would offer him what I thought was fair and then tell him when you go to get studs put in if the shop says the heads are good I will give you another 1k. It might cost you more than 1k to get two new heads but when bargaining it is all give and take. I would also find out when he did the delete.
