Hi
I am looking at purchasing a 08 F-350 and was curious what you guys thought of the price and if you see anything that i don't from the pictures. I would go look at it in person but I am on a gold mine about 8000 miles away in Ghana. I have put a refundable deposit on it and am very much looking forward to taking a look at it in about 3 weeks time. I already have a SCT programmer with innovative tunes, AFE CAI and 5" flo-pro exhaust from Rudy's waiting for me and the truck I will eventually buy. This truck has almost everything I was looking for, it is the right color, it is a FX4 and a 4 door. The price seems to be about right and the dealer will take off the stickers and pin stripping if I choose to purchase it. Long term will have a MPD S475 and rudys duel fuelers under the hood but for now the innovative tunes will put a smile on my face I'm sure. Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks for the comments guys, this will be my second 08, i purchased a left over F250 eclb diesel december of 08 and left it stock until the milage, 80 mile round trip to work every day and no overtime forced me to trade it on a 04 accord. Now I am working in Africa on a gold mine for a CAT dealer and want my ford back. Will be home to look at it on the 3rd, as long as everything looks good i will purchase it and start modifications immediately.

Would it be safe to say that it'd be best to stay away from the 08's and go for the 09-10's? I've heard a lot of horror stories about, what seems to be, mostly 08's.

Na, I wouldnt say stay away from the 08s all together. I wouldnt buy a job one but even then if its had all the proper recalls and TSBs taken care of it should be good.

No matter what I was buying, Id run an oasis on it just to see what has happen and how long it has been since.
