New to the forum and the powerstroke world. Just bought a 2013 f250 platinum and I couldn't be happier with the truck! Rides great and has plenty of power stock. I've searched some and want a quality lift like icon, pf, bds, etc. Not looking to break the bank with one, just something kinda middle of the pack. Would like quality shocks, thinking fox. Looking for a 4" with all the accesories recommended. Looking for moto metal 20x12 962s with 35-12.5s really wanting super swamper m16s, but open to other tires. I know there is a sponsor section but I'm not sure who sells what. So if you're a sponsor and you see this, shoot me a pm with your best prices.
If this is in the wrong section or not allowed then fell free to move or delete.

Don't get M16s. In addition to riding like crap, balancing terribly, and wearing ridiculous, they're also prone to separating belts.

I ran a set on my half ton for 40k miles. But then again it was on a half ton. I'll look into them more I guess. Thanks

Looks like icon and pmf may be more than I'm wanting to spend. So how about piecing a kit together instead. Thinking about going with a cheap kit like rough country then add better springs, such as icon or other recommendations, and some fox shocks. Good idea, bad idea? Let me know. Figured there wouldn't be much difference between the hard parts on the kits and just replace the stuff that can wear out and affect the ride with better stuff.

Thats what we had talked about in our PM. I think to get the budget you want thats a great idea. At least you will be using the best parts with the Icon/FOX for the parts that will affect ride quality. The hard parts are kind of what they are in a lot of kits.

It seems like you'd be in it almost as much or more than if you just bought the parts from the get go.

Have you talked to PMF about a budget type of lift? They use the icon springs and you just get the fox shocks with all of that?

Yeah it seems the hard parts should be about the same from every manufacture. Not taking it off road so I'm sure the quality on any of them will suite me. Just want a decent ride.
No I haven't got pricing on pmf yet. I can get a bds kit and fox shocks or a rough country with icon coils and fox shocks for around the same price. Don't know which way to go.
