I recently bought a new truck, 2008 f250 6.4 JOB2 with 201,000.
The truck seemed perfect at first, then on the third day of owning it the tranny started slipping a little bit.
A week later I took the truck through a rather deep mud hold in the field. The next day my check engine light came on, codes: u0101 lost communication with transmission control module and P0284 cylinder 8 contribution/balance. I deleted the codes and no other problems besides the transmission slipping here and there.
It's been 4 days since all that and check engine light stayed off until today at lunch. Check engine came on almost immediately after started, went on up the road and transmission was hesitating and slipping worse than ever followed by the GREEN WRENCH, ugh (came on three times over thirty min period) I pulled the codes and this is what I got

U0101 Lost communication with Transmission control module
C1145 Speed wheel sensor circuit failure
U0115-UNKNOWN
P0284 Cylinder 8 contribution/balance
U0151 Lost communication with restraints control module
U0121 Lost communication anti lock brake system control module
U0155 Lost communication with instrument cluster control panel

Also, Something I forgot. During lunch, when everything went crazy, the green light that lights up PRND321 Kept going back and forth from N to D.

This truck is bone stock, no deletes, no tuner, nothing. Could all of this just be lose wires from mudding? Other than the P0284 code, which is probably bad injector.

You need to check the cab harness plugs first. They are right under the master cylinder. Make sure they are connected all the way. Also pull them apart and make sure they don't have any pins pushed out. Prob best to take out the inner fender to help with that. Check everything really good
