Gotta return to stock before switching tuners.

Some people even swap back to stock to change a tune on the same tuner.

I've never used a banks tuner so hopefully someone chimes in. But normally you have the stock file on the tuner and a modified tune on the ecm. If you took the banks off to go to sct, your banks would Still have the stock file on its memory. And the sct would be backing up the banks tune as a stock file.

So it's a must you return to stock.

Or Just go to ford and pay them $$$ to reflash to stock lol.

the banks is a module that modifies the parameters, it doesn't reprogram the ecm, just follow the directions and disconnect the system, then upload the sct tuning relearn and go. Im pretty sure there is a process for removal to avoid issues, its been a while... Go to the banks site and download the instructions

Correct. Banks plugs inline with your PCM harness and will no longer modify the signal the PCM is sending out if it is disconnected. There is no "return to stock". Unplug it and you are good.
