Lower radiator hose connection questions

Just put my lower radiator hose one the first section that goes into the pump. Anyway the top end went on just fine. Now the bottom end the hooks into the other hose goin to the radiator I have on pretty much the whole way. But the wire to hold is Alittle lose. The hose doesn't leak at all but I don't like the wire loose. Was wondering if anybody else had this problem. I did however get a good coolant shower

Pull on the hose and it will snug the clip up. The o-rings on the inside make the seal and the clip just holds the hose from blowing off. If the clip is and hose are on right, it shouldn't leak.

Alrite ill try it thanks for the advice. It doesn't leak tho but like I said I hate that the wire isn't tight.

Pull the clip off and squish it together at the opening to snug it up a little. You may have stretched it a little when you took it off.
