LPOP

Im trying to decide which LPOP to use
1) Diesel site high volume LPOP or 2)Melling LPOP
big difference in price but is it worth it and how do these compare to stock

I have heard good things about the melling nothing on the high volume if that helps at all.

unless your emptying your reservoir then the melling will suit you fine.. the dieselsite pump was intended for the all out race truck running his overdrive trans for the HPOP or someone running the Gen3 with oil hungry injectors...it would be nice to flow more oil though our motor..but for the price the melling has done a great job over the years...

Bill from PHP posted a review a while back on the dieselsite lpop and its a nice piece for sure if you have the cash... I run the melling lpop tho and have no complaints for the price, it has worked for me with no problems so far

I have an adrenaline and 250/200s and like I said the melling pump works good for me

The Melling pump is a great one, and the price is right. I run one and am happy with it.

What are the symptoms when a LPOP is going?

^whs but how can you tell difference if its the pump or broken pick up tube?

Not sure on the broke pick up tube, but when my lpop was worn out I had problems with it starting like the truck would start and if I didnt pat the gas as soon as o started it to keep it going it would die and I would have to try 4-5 times cranking and cranking. Also a few hot start issues as well after replacing the lpop it started perfectly every time
