Hello, again I have been very busy, and still tweeking turbo to get the most out of them. I have a whole line up of turbos and you can see them on my web site::: mad turbo werks.com.
I no longer build the durastroke,

Stage 1 measures same as a powermax turbo 63.5mm/88mm and has a single plane cast wheel.

The next turbo is a new one and I call it the Hybrid, it measures 64.7mm/88mm and has a .58 a/r compressor housing.Turbo comes with a billet wheel.

Stage 2 :: it is a gt4088 compressor housing to fit on a powerstoke. Measures 64.7mm/88mm .72 a/r housing, comes with cast wheel.

Stage 3 :: it measures 67.8mm/94mm .90 a/r compressor housing, and comes with billet wheel.

Stage 4 :: it measures 70.8mm/96mm .90 a/r housing.

ALL TURBOS ARE VGT

All prices can be found on web site. All turbos are direct replacement, all lines, hoses, and mount will work with all the turbos just like they did with stock turbo. Stages 1, hybrid, and 2 will work with stock injectors.
I have sold 6 Hybrids and are on trucks right now, reveiws will be coming in, and will update when they do, good and bad. So far it's been good, hybrid spools faster than stock turbo, way more thottle response, and little less lag. Pulls like a freight train and doesn't run out of air up top.
Thanks, MAD

Wow, I did not know they were that affordable. Would you recommend the stage one on a non studded truck?

Adrian, I thought for some reason the Stage 3 and Stage 4 turbos had .58ar compressor housings.

just curious but what happned with the Durastroke?

The Durastroke is still a good turbo and stage 1 is just as good. The problem was that I was running out of finding good duramax cores. So I can get same results with the stage 1 which is a powerstroke turbo with a Duramax wheel.

I would love to run a stage 3 with 190's, but i dont think i want to do that big of a build. What kind of boost difference are you seeing between stage 2 and 3 with 190's?

I have ran both the Stage 2 and Stage 3 turbos with 190/100s and boost with the Stage 2 was about 27-28psi, where the Stage 3 boost level has been as high as 44+psi. Keep in mind that these levels were both with tunes that were written for 190/100s and a stock turbo. It is hard to say what these two turbos would do with custom tuning specifically for them but I am thinking there would be about a 15psi difference.

It all comes down to what you want and that's it. If you think compounds are the ticket, then go for it. It's all good. I just know for me, having a turbo that can be dropped in the place of the stock turbo, bolts up with all of the stock accessories, (so far anyways) seems to perform real close to what I would be getting if I had compounds with my injectors, and even costs less. I wouldnt know why you wouldnt want to go any other route unless you were running huge injectors. JMO of course.

The stage 3 Nate is running is definitely the most streetable 600 rwhp single around, for the price comparison though,
Compound turbos.. 64-66/73 .90 (650.00-750 pp) s480/96 1.32. T6 (750-850) plus piping and flanges. Still under 2k.

Wow I didn't realize that these turbos were that inexpensive. I was going off what I had seen bulls eyes turbos. S364 in the $1500 neighborhood and S480 in the $1800 to $2000 neighborhood.

Have or do you tow with yours Nate? If so how does it do?

No I dont really tow with my truck. It isnt that I dont want to. I just dont have anything to haul around on any sort of basis. It is too soon to tell if this turbo will support 190s and towing. I am planning for a live tuning session real soon so hopefully we can get it to spool quick enough for towing. Believe me though, if we can get it tow, I will find something to pull just to do it.

I saw nates numbers on youtube, and drooled. Thats exactly where i want to be. Ive started entertaining the turbo/injector upgrade, and will probably take the leap soon. Nobody has anything bad to say about MTW, and have been seeing some impressive numbers.

MTW smaller turbos are less money, I wish I could bring the stage 3 and 4 cheaper but with having to buy a turbo, and then machining, I can't go lower.
