Manual Slider to Powersliding rear window??

Anyone done this? got the switch already on the dash from the dash swap and im lucky enough to be having to replace the sliding window pane/entire 3 piece back window since someone broke in on sat night.

after pricing a new window i might be best off going to a yard or clist to find a part out with window and take it and have someone install the glass and then ill wire up the slider.

truck is 04 and dash is 06

have switch in the dash from my dash swap and also the pigtail. got quoted 350-410 for new manual window but called local yard. theyre gonna take the seats etc out and the old window and put the window off an 05-07 in it and mount the motor etc and leave me wires running to the unit to run to the switch. will document as i can and its going in tomorrow at lunch time

gonna be 450 installed. i might be taking the seats out myself since im not gonna be there and dont really want anything to happen since this is my first time using this place, but they seem very legit

found out today that the truck seems to be prewired. had the plug for the motor and the window is installed but will be going back tomorrow to fix a gap.

need to find the dash side plug otherwise im gonna have to follow wires. any ideas from those that have a power slider already (where the wires go to behind the dash..

I will try and look at mine tomorrow. Do you need to know colors and which direction the go towards? Anything else while im in there. Btw mine is an 04 so Im not sure if it will be the same as your 06 dash.

i have the switch and connector that came out of the 06 but im figuring that if the motor had the plug the dash side should be there. do you have a power slider in your 04??

Yes. Mine has every option except tvs. I will try and pull my switch out tomorrow and see if i can help you out.

truck is back there since they put the window out of an 08+ in and its not sealed properly

Ok the swith has 7 wires. A purple with blue stripe, dark blue with a black stripe, light blue with red stripe, purple with green stripe and three black wires. The wires are in a seprate loom that goes to the firewall where they then go into a larger loom with a bunch of other wires. Probably 30 or so. Maybe this helps if not i wil try and trace the wires further for you.
