Doing a swap from a 96 van into a 01 Super duty. Swapped everything over except the front cover. Put it in, and start cranking and oil is coming from where the oil cooler bolts to the front cover.
I used the truck oil cooler. The ends are slightly different between the van and truck. Pulled it off tonight and didn't see anything where it bolts up, and the gasket appears ok and it was tight. pulled the lower radiator hose off the water pump and it was full of oil. There was no coolant in it when I started cranking.
I'm having a hard time understanding what has happened.
