I've searched everywhere I can, but can't seem to find any information on this. What is the maximum safe RPMs on a stock motor 6.7 with a tune and deletes? I have and SCT with tunes from Punch-it-Performance. I'm not looking at running it at higher than normal RPMs, but sometimes in tow/haul it shifts a little late into 2nd and hits about 3500 and sometimes when I brake loose it'll hit up to 4K even. I just want to know if I need to start being more careful with it or if I have nothing to worry about.

This is my first Powerstroke which I got about 5 months ago. I bought my tune and deletes from Mike at No Limit Fab when I was still considering my purchase and he helped me make the decision to go with the Powerstroke. I've owned a Cummins and have had a lot of experience with them and done my share of research on them. I'm wanting to start getting a little more comfortable about the 6.7 Powerstrokes as well and possibly do some more performance mods on it in the future.

You should be fine the PCM will defuel the truck before it hits the max preset RPM written into the the tune.

X2 they are safe in my opinion for brief periods of time at high rpms. All of the diesels I've owned will rev right to red line in tow/haul mode going downhills etc with a trailer on...
