So I changed my oil the couple days ago and decided to check it tonight. I found what seemed to be some milky oil on the dipstick. I checked under the oil fill cap and found more. I'm not sure how much coolant I had in it before since I had the degas bottle out and hadn't checked it til now after refilling it. I'm thinking the oil cooler took a crap, since it's never puked. What's the best way to diagnose?

Oil Cooler is my guess as well. I had the same thing happen to my 95 F350. Avoid driving it if at all possible.

When an oil cooler fails typically the oil goes into the coolant due to the higher pressure in the oil system. Do you do a lot of short trips with the truck? Could be condensation buildup with the cooler ambient temps.

After verifying the pan isn't full of antifreeze (pull the drain plug, antifreeze will come out first due to difference in specific gravity) take the truck for a drive. Keep the oil temp hot. Like 190 or hotter hot.

If its gone when you get back, it was likely condensation mixing with the oil.

I thinking Hillbilly was right with the condensation. I was driving shoot trips where is would barely get to temp. I topped off the coolant last night. It hasn't changed and I haven't found anymore milk. I think I dodged a bullet. Knock on wood.
