Mini Maxx question

I'll be getting with Midwest Diesel tomorrow about some custom tunes for my 12' since I'm installing the 15' turbo. My question is, will I need to make sure my tuner is up to date? If so, how do I do that? Next question is, will they just create and send me a newly created file or am I gonna have to email them the canned tunes and once they tweak, they send back? I'm new to the MCC think so please, all helpful info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Updating the tuner becomes null and void when running custom tunes. If I had to guess, I would bet he will ask you to export the stock file from the truck and send it to him to modify.

typically it's only vin .

So they're just gonna need my vin #? Still trying to decide on who to get the tunes from as well so any insight on that would help as well. Thanks
