Mirror Light

I got one of my lights out on my mirror and I was wondering if I can just pop the orange plastic cover off or if I have to go thru the mirror? Just wondering what the process was. No sense in getting pulled over for a mirror light being out.

I remember doing a commercial safety on one when I was at the dealer and the 08's first came down the pipe and had one with one of those little lenses busted. You couldn't buy pieces for the mirror yet. $1650 for a new power folding and extending mirror later - new lens. Now available for peanuts. Lol
