I have put about 100 miles on since I put a different motor in my truck. It seemed to run good at first, but now it misses on one of the cylinders when its cold, and it smokes blue. Once its warmed up, it will miss on two cylinders. I did a koer cylinder contribution test, and it said #1 and #3 cylinders are misfiring. I replaced the solenoids on those two injectors, the uvch, the wiring harness on top of the motor, and the idm. After all of that, it still runs like ####. The injectors were gone through by casserly before I put them in and new orings were installed. Mods in sig. Could and icp or ipr sensor cause this? Suggestions?

...did you perform a compression test prior to installing this engine? These symptoms sound like an engine with low compression. Wiring issue would cause a check engine light...and sensors don't cause a miss. You either have a junk engine or some inj problems.

I can't count the number "running" engines that customers bring in to replace their worn out low compression engine...only to find out that the "good running" engine is a POS too...

Since the injs were just gone through...I'd run a compression test.

It ran fine in the other vehicle it was in. I heard and saw it run before it was pulled. It ran great. It was rpm-inc's motor that he had in his van.

Also, I started it quick tonight and pulled the electrical plug out of the icp sensor. It was full of oil. Could this be the cause of my issues? Once I pulled the plug out, I also noticed my rpms increased a little bit.

No. The fact the rpm changed means that the sensor was working fine...unplugging it effectively blindfolded the PCM wrt to ICP pressure....so the PCM had to revert to default values...which is why the idle (and ICP pressure) changed.

I would eventually replace the sensor...since it has oil in it...but that's not your issue
