I'm planning out the mods for my truck. Current plans are EGR delete, exhaust(thinking of dual stacks),headstuds(not sure about ARP or H11 or whatever they're called), SCT w/ custom tunes, and coolant filter to start. I'm trying to get around 450 rwhp. Unfortunately, this is being done over time. Come tax time, I'm hoping to get at least the egr and headstuds done. Soooo, can ya'll give me an idea of what it's gonna cost? BTW, I'm about 30 mins south of Houston, Tx.

With a sct, and ficm tuning you will be close to 420-430 rwhp. To hit 450 you will need more air. The cheapest route would be no2, next way possibly a batmowheel and lastly a powermax. The power max is 1000-1300 bucks and should support up to 190cc injectors. Likely you will be satisfied with just the sct and custom tunes. After a tuner though it can get expensive to make a lot more power

Yeah these trucks are apparently very expensive, but I'm in love with my truck.
Eventually, I'm hoping to make around 600 rwhp. This is just for starters. I plan on buying another SD for my dd/work truck and this is going to be my toy/fun truck.

MMMM i think I can hit 450 rwhp with a better tune. If you do all the work yourself this can all be had for 1k if someone else does it more like 5k. Welcome to the 6 liter world. I fell in love with mine :D

If your goal is 600rwhp. My best advice is to get a lot of info and do research. Get the supporting mods fuel and studs egr deletes then decide what route you plan to go with either a big single or twins. I would decide what size injectors and then go from there.

If 600 reliable RWHP is your goal, the cheapest route would be to trade the 6.0l in on a 6.4l. Just sayin'. I love my truck as well, but if I had plans for that kind of power, I'd buy a 6.4l. I think they are capable of around 530rwhp with a tune and exhaust only.

This was kinda my though after a lot of research I found that if I sold my truck took the money I would have used for mods and put that twards the truck I'd have a newer lower mile truck with a lot of power and potential. This is also why I doubt do much of anything past the tuner on my truck. Even if I went crazy I could just about put a 5.9 in the truck for the same money and get nearly the same hp level for the money.

BTW, if you do stud it go with ARP's. They can be reused and the H11's can't.

Actually it's the other way around. The H11's are harder and don't stretch at all as compared to the ARP's that stretch a bit after being torqued down. Therefore they wont seal as well after the first install. H11's are the way to go IMO
