Hey guys new to the forums and had a few tuner questions and seeking advice/opinions.

I have a 2012 F250 that I have had for about 6 months and put roughly 12k on it so far. I plan on deleting tuning eventually and wanted thoughts on different options. I want to use a bit of my tax return to get a tuner but don't want to tune and delete just yet.

My reasoning is it seems these tuners are doing nothing but getting more expensive as the EPA smackdown is making it harder for manufacturers to sell them.

Question is what are yalls recommendation for a good tuner that I can use to monitor for now and delete later. I like the Mini Maxx a lot but for 1600 and up its a hard pill to swallow. The SCT has a better price point but is awkward looking. I saw the Torque touch screen tuners, but havent heard much about them.

Is there anyone who could shed some light/offer advice? Thanks. And heres a pic of my truck next to my other "vehicle"...

If you want shift on the fly, a Torque Tech is basically a Mini Maxx in a different package. I sell them and never had a problem with one.

For the money though, most of my customers go for an SCT X4 with competiton files and an Edge CTS Insight for gauges. There's no shift on the fly but the tunes are worth the time it takes the flash between them.

Miller what do you mean about shift on the fly? Will I not be able to manually shift from the steering column with some tunes?

And can I still use it to monitor if I don't tune right away?

And the our afterburners produce 37k lbs of thrust a piece. Doesn't need a tune haha...
