moving rear leafs to the front?

2004 f250 diesel

Question is can I move the rear leaf springs to the front with out modding it to fit? If so how much lift will it give me? I am asking because I was told by a guy I just met and I don't no if he is a honest person or just messing with me. I have not found where anyone has done it. :ford:

Never heard of anyone doing that. Its going to ride like garbage if they do fit. I wouldn't do it.

I doubt the lengths are the same, I could be wrong though.

He said he removed some leafs from the pack. Just wondering i am not going to do it.

Im pretty sure the center pins are offset on the rear. and the front center pins a centered in the springs. Using rears you would have to drill new holes for the pins and good luck drilling that stuff.

This is something people do on the older toyota's but I haven't heard of this for the Fords.
