Hey, I've never posted pics of my regular cab on the site, so I figured I finally would. I know a lot of guys will say black it out, but it just isn't my thing, haha. Pictures aren't the best, camera is a little old. The truck is lowered half a coil in the front, no blocks in the rear. I'm considering going down a little further, but my winter tires are 35s and stock 18s, so I want to make sure they fit fine before I go any lower. I'm also considering taking the hood off. Sometimes I really like it, but most days I'm just not feeling it. Let me know what you think.

I've always loved your truck Matt. It's looking great lowered with the low profile tires and chrome Novakane's. I have mixed thoughts on the hood myself. I think it would look killer with the other Cervini's hood (center raised front to back) or a stock hood.

As soon as I get my woman to clean out the interior, I will get some pics, haha. As far as motor mods I've got a 4" downpipe to 5" straight pipe to 7" stack. Dashdaq with KEM tunes, Livewire with Eric's, Spearco Intercooler, Dirty Diesel cold side pipe and intake elbow, Elite's wastegate, S&B air intake, transmission built by Dan at Midwest Trans with all the billet goodies, and I think that is about it as far as performance goes right now. I've got a crap ton of parts waiting to go on, but I keep changing my mind and adding more stuff to the build list. Hopefully have the motor work done next spring.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a cowl hood either, but I'm not really in love with any of the models out there, just not enough definition. Stock hood will probably go back on this winter.

Actually no, I haven't made it to the track, haha. I was hoping to this summer, but work has picked up so much I just don't have a ton of ambition after a 60 hour work week. Throw in the fact that the closest track is like 2.5 hours from me, and then I really don't have the motivation. Theres a dyno event I'm hoping to attend next weekend and I'd like to hit up the quarter one of these weekends before the tracks close for the season.

I like the black and chrome. It looks good on your truck. I am undecided on the hood. It seems like it is to over the top for your truck.

I say paint the grill black and leave the hood. The black grill would really look good with that hood. I am a huge fan of the 08's and up that have PTM grills.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. In my small town where a modified diesel is pretty rare, people aren't really loving the lowered look. Haha. The hood will more than likely come off, it needs to go to the body shop and get a few scratches taken care of so I'll just have them do it then. I'm really wanting to tint the third brake light and tail lights, but its hard to pick a week when I can have my truck down and send them off. I've considered buying another grill and having it painted black and trying it out, just to see what its like. If I do, I'd probably find an fx4 and cut out the center like I did with this one and put in another polished billet piece, just to help tie in with the rest of the chrome.

Yep, half coil right off the top. It measures out to be I think a 1/4" higher in the rear, but it looks level.

Truck looks bitchin, Im not really one to comment on looks or express my opinion because my truck is stock. But i would go back to the stock hood. Already alot goin on on the front end the hood just makes it look to complicated.

Like the stance and the black/chrome ratio. Truck looks good, hood takes away from it though, that thing belongs on a monster truck, not a street truck.

I think if the truck is lowered more to fit the tires and turned into a short bed it would look like a mean sob. Think that hood would be more in place if you were to do that too. It'd be looking like a street terror for sure. Still looks great as it is though.
