Back in august 2013 I had a strange intermittent noise when warm from the bottom end. So I parked it until January of this year and started tearing into it.
I found one lifter to have a Flat spot and the bearings were shot. It wore the lobe on the cam Down and a put a flat indention on the lobe. So far I have waiting to be installed:
Billet stage 2 cam from Midwest diesel
Billet pushrods from Midwest diesel
Coated flycut pistons from Midwest diesel
High rev. Valve spring from Midwest diesel
Sinister reg return. (Debating on selling it and doing nates)
A1 studs
Rebuilt heads with hardened seats
New glow plugs
Block is .30 over and deck milled .07
Injectors are 175/75's going to holders to get flowed/rebuilt
Turbo setup (undecided??)

Here are some pictures of progress. Have to pick up the block today or tommorow. Want to say thanks to Morgan at Midwest diesel for answering everything I had to ask and all of the parts!
