According to a couple posts on various sites, If you are driving an early 08 truck like mine with a light load for a while and then give it significant throttle, the hot charge air picks up the moisture that has collected in the intercooler and feeds it to the engine, which creates white smoke (steam) that doesn't smell like fuel. I think that is what happend to my truck on Friday. I checked the coolant level and it doesn't seem to be dropping. Here is a TSB on it.
