I guess the solution is not to put the filter in a small box. On my '99, I have a BHAF sitting in the open behind the headlight. I've seen it with some snow on it, but I've never seen snow packed onto it. It has so much outside area that it would be hard to pack the entire filter, especially if it wasn't in a box. [/QUOTE]
