Looking for the short side pinion center-line to knuckle center-line from a 1985-1997 Dana 60. Trying to figure out if it's worth driving an hour to pick up, but the seller is dumber than 85_305. Keeps claiming it is a 1982 D60.

Thanks guys.

I can I.D. it no problem from a picture. Guy can barely type an email, so digital photography is definitely out of the question :fustrate: . I just don't want to drive all the way out there and discover it is a 78/79 or worse yet a D44.
Pinion center-line to knuckle center-line should be roughly the same for all D60 85-97. The 78/79 D60's had the pinion located roughly 3.5" further to the passenger side than 85-97. That is why the wheeler types like them for welding on coil perches.
Any chance you could measure one if you have both on hand?
