Need advice!!

I have a 2014 f250 cc lariat bright red. I have 8800 miles on it right now and I'm stuck at a crossroads. I was thinking about getting a programmer so I got on here and started reading about the turbo problems on the 11-14's. So then I looked at getting a 2015 and can trade mine pretty much straight across for the 15. My question is would I be better off getting the 15 or keeping mine and putting the programmer on? Any help would be appreciated.

Well it would depend on your budget. If you have the funds then do both and be done with it. Stock 11-14 turbos will fail just like tuned ones. The 15 turbo is a great option I'd like to do it to my 6.7 but I've been spending money on my 6.4. I've been running my stock turbo on my 11 going on a year now and I tuned it at 20k and it now has 38k on it and I haven't had turbo problems yet. Knock on wood. I run the factory h&s tunes that are update and it really doesn't boost more than 22-24 psi and I've tried to boost it higher. So you might be good on the stock charger for a long time then it might pop the day after the tuner. Who knows.

I meant trading for a 2015 truck. Just wanting to know if you guys would trade trucks or upgrade turbos
