I'm hoping you guys can help me decide on which to go with. I was set on the 175's but i only plan on doing this once and wanna make sure i make the right decision. My truck is a daily driver and i do occasionally tow around 6k with it. (6x12 utility trailer full of tools). Anyway, i'm looking to top out around 550 hp (eventually) and i'm done. I know i'll need a r.r. which i plan on doing the same time to keep the injectors running safely. However, the turbo upgrade is most likely gonna have to wait a few more months. Is there that much of a difference between the 175's and the 190's? Can i tow safely with the 190's? I'm assuming both are gonna smoke with a stock turbo depending on how i drive. Pros/cons. Mods are in my sig. Also, i was leaning toward a PM with the batmo but now i might save up for the Rcd 68. I'm hoping i don't end up having to buy a new trans with either of these setups. (wife will probably remove my balls with her teeth if this happens) Thoughts from guys running these setups? Thanks.

190 75s would be fine for a 6x12 loaded up on a street file, they are the larest id go with for towing though. 175s aren't going to make the power you want either. 190s and the 68 would be the way to go.
Your trans will last for a while but your driving habits will detirmine it's life.
And good call on the RR.

One more question. I noticed most places have 1,2, and 3 stage R.R.'s The 3rd being a fuel bowl delete. Is it necessary to delete the fuel bowl? Don't know much at all about the R.R. Can i get by with a stage 1 or 2 R.R.? Any explanation of pros/cons on this is much appreciated.

Pm sent buddy. The stage 1 is beyond adequate but does not come with upgraded feed lines as the stage 2 does . The stage 3 has larger 3/8 lines and the fuel bowl delete eliminates the factory regulator assembly completely as the new aeromotive regulator is taking its place.

Thanks for the help. So i can get by with a stage 1. In your opinion is it worth it to do the fuel bowl delete?

i'd only do the fuel bowl delete if you upgrade the fuel pump and a better filtration setup.

Im runnin 190/100s with a itp rr and a batmo pm and tow 5-6k every weekend and have no problem with temps egts stay850 to 900 at 70. And that's all running xtreme street. so if you wanna go even cooler on egts then dozers is right on the money!

I'm in the same boat but I will once in awhile tow 8-10k which is my mud truck on a trailer. I figured if anything I could run just water in a water meth kit to cool the egts if 190/75's are to much. I tink they can be detuned enough though with a good tow tune.

I had the same problem man, but i decided to go with 190/75s. I was concerned about my tranny, but i think for the first few months, at least until i can get an emergency fund built up for the trans, im just gunna run xstreet or something of that nature, just gunna try and be easier on her for a little while (minus the first week :p )

RCD's street tune pulled a ton of fuel out of my 190/100's. LOW temps, zero smoke.
