Need Help.....AGAIN

Bout at my wits end with this truck. Started cutting out again today, trans starts jumping gears. Felt like a classic CPS so I swapped out that, still does it. So I unplugged ICP and it still does it. It has new EBPV, CPS, ICP, swapped IDM's. I did the 50 cent mod last month and all that looked good although it was a little loose. What am I missing?

That crossed my mind, but why would the trans jump up and down through gears?

so after i cooled off, i get in it today and i got dead pedal. Hit the throttle and nothing, it just continues to idle, stabbed it twice still nothing, finally third stab it takes off. Is this another tps issue?

Codes? Sounds like a tps/ ivs switch problem.

Pulled codes with little hand held and got nothing. Don't think it picks up SES codes. What's the IVS?

Idle validation switch. Depending on the year it may be seperate from the tps.

My brothers 96 did the same thing. took the chip out and it stopped doing it.

Will admit sounds like it is your throttle position sensor.

If you have a chip, your first troubleshooting move should be REMOVE THE CHIP.

So I pulled the pedal assembly, and cleaned the IVS and TPS with electrical contact cleaner and it worked. All is working good again. Thanks guys!
