So as you can see I have some nice black raised letter vinyl stickers on the hood and the tailgate of my 08. A buddy got them for me four years ago when I bought the truck. My problem is I lost the R on the tailgate.... It now says SUPE DUTY LOL. I can't find them anywhere and my buddy can't remember where he got them! Went to a business that makes signs and vinyl sticker and they can't replicate it. HELP!!!!

My dad got registration numbers from a company that advertised in one of the wakeboard mags called domednumbers.com. You could call them and see if you sent the remaining one in if they would copy it and send you back 2 new ones. I used to work for a graphics company like that also, and I can tell you it'd take me about a full hour to re-create the R alone because you basically have to re-draw it on the computer, then revise it. Main thing I'm getting at, is my time was $75/hr so it'll probably cost you.

A typical sign shop will not be able to make these raised gel type letters. They will be able to make you flat letters that look just like them. If they tell you it will take them an hour to design each letter, run. I have been in the sign industry for almost 20 years and it would take maybe 10 minutes per letter from start to finish if I had to completely copy it and clean it up.

Someone had these raised type letters made in a International logo years back over on PSN. I will try to find the link. It had the name of the company that he had them made at.

I could not find the exact post but you can Google "domed decals" and you will find many places that will make them.

You may need to get a few people in on a group buy so the one off price is not so high.
