So I had a buddy call me up and say his truck has no power and is white/slightly gray smoking under throttle. He took off from work and said it wouldn't do but like 10 MPH and was smoking alot! Parked it and here we stand. Truck has intake, delete pipe and IDP tunes. He's been running the street tune for quite a while now with no problems. Drove to work this morning, no problems, went to go to a meeting and here we are.

So far, no coolant anywhere from what he says.

U0100 and U0115 code, thats it.. U0100 is nothing right?

any ideas where to start trouble shooting?

Would a faulty exhaust sensor cause the truck to go into a regen/limp mode?

I dont know much about 6.4s but could the egr valve be stuck. I would pop the cover off and try and see if he can move it

How would a stuck EGR produce white smoke and no power?

I believe it puts it in limp mode, might not be the issue but my brothers truck had the same symtoms and the egr valve was the culprit.

No codes besides the ones above. Buddy said he put it to stock and then tuned back to IDP tunes and now it's driving ok, he didn't go far but that's last I heard from around lunch time.

Yeah this is Ian, I made my way over from PSN.
