So attached is a clip of my leaking driver side oil plug that has been causing a decent leak. I want some ideas on best removal process. I know that it is a 1/2" square plug and I have tried my flexing 3/8" w/adapter and coming from above i couldn't break it free. I have a new plug and seal from ford as I suspected it was it but i didn't change it and now it is getting worse. I am currently thinking that Ill remove the driver side up pipe and worse case Ill drop the transmission cross member for more room.
Is there another way that I maybe have overlooked as it is pretty tight given that it leaks oil. ( a quart every 2000 miles or so)
Thanks.
