need info 7.3 guys

i am posting for a friend of mine who owns a 1999 7.3 auto. It has a brand new alternator and battery's. The problem is the truck isn't charging the battery's its just draining them. What would be the cause of this? Thanks!

Have you checked to make sure the grounds are good? wireing not loose? Iv had brand new alternators be bad before also.

Check the plug on the back of the altinator I've seen those pig tails go bad

Check the fuseible links on the passenger fender that connect to the starter solenoid.
