I'm having some issues getting my current set up to run like a daily driver. I have 2012 with II single non vgt 64mm with SCT and GH tunes. Been working with Luke to get the GH tunes dialed in but I seem to be a long way from dialed in. Luke has been a lot of help BTW so no complaint with NL, apparently I have a unique ECM file that they haven't figured out the trans tuning for yet. Anyway, aside from the trans issues which could be my culprit overall, I get 0 boost until I hit 2k-2200 rpm. If I am cruising at any speed and in high gear when I give throttle (not punching it) to speed up it lugs until I get to 1/2 throttle and then it downshifts 2-3 gears depending on what gear its in then launches to 34 lbs in seconds. Cool when you are going 65 and it goes to 5th showing off to friends but not cool when going 35 navigating traffic. Industrial told me they used GH for the truck they built the kit on and had 600hp with great spooling and drivability (I already had the kit so no sales pitch needed). I have now adjusted my driving to the tune in the truck just to get around. I think the fuel/timing/etc...must be wrong for the set up because I have done a ton of research and most of what I have come across is that the non vgt kits drive as well if not better than stock and mine is nowhere near stock and even farther from tuned with a stock VGT. So for you with non vgt turbos is this normal? Does it need more specific tuning? Could the trans be causing all of the drivability issues? The only shop I know of around me that could dyno tune is Truck Source but I think they only do H&S stuff?

Ok ... I may be wrong but I believe Luke may not be aware this is non vgt. We have been just recently releasing the non vgt Alberta speed stuff . This could be a huge part of the issue. I'm away on vaca til Monday , but call the shop in the am and let him be sure we are sending files for non vgt.

Will do. Another thing I forgot to mention is that the converter never locks up in 1st or 2nd gear, is that normal?

Yes. Unless specifically asked for, tc lock will be in 3rd or 4th

Did you talk to luke this week ? Pm me.

I got the tuner and need some help. I called and Luke was supposed to call back. I am not sure how to load MCC GH tunes without an active website and CTS2 doesn't work with the MM hooked up is there a secret to getting both to work at the same time? Luke told me a splitter would work but CTS2 freezes up when the MM comes on. I leave tomorrow for Memorial holiday and will be towing my TT so if someone can call tomorrow and give me some guidance I'd appreciate it.

today was crazy rough, i apologize. call at 8am pac time and we will get it sorted, you dont need any active website though, just plug in sd card into your computer , once it pops up open it, and put the tunes we sent you in the custom folder. if the custom folder doesnt exist, while plugged into truck , go to install downloads>import/export mcc>export , whe it asks if you want to tune the trans select yes. that will leave the custom folder on the card for you. then drag the files into it , then do the exact opposite loading them onto the truck. install download>import/export>import , it'll take a minute or 2 to process the engine file, then ask if you want to tune the trans , select yes and then select the trans file that was sent. pm me if you need any further help between now and the morning.
