Ok, I've been building this thing at night when it drops below 100 degrees. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341922278.664439.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1341922395.250987.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1341922456.743012.jpg
I am at a stand still untill the stainless bolts and nuts for the skid plate come in. I was thinking paint to match the bumper, stainless hardware, and would like to find a set of chrome or stainless d rings (any body point me in the right direction?)
Anywho, I keep changing my mind on what I want to do for the top part to cover the grill I've flopped between theseImageUploadedByTapatalk1341923003.369531.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1341923035.319242.jpg or a brush guard or just the simple single bar. The piping is 3 inch and 2 inch food grade stainless. Let me get some opinions fellas.

Looks good. Ptm with just a single slightly angled forward prerunner style bar. With a couple lights. Just enough to deflect an animal away from the grill and front of the truck.

Personal opinion but I severely dislike the huge brush guards.

Sent from my x2 somewhere

:whs:I would do something kind of low key, I'm not a big fan of huge cattle catchers. Looks good so far though!

I drew up a sketch with the lower bar. I may just go with this. I don't plan on a lift or larger tires, which I think may make the front look alittle off. Also, the foil on my grill is pealing. I'm going to just remove it all and paint the grill and emblem while I'm at it. Open to suggestions for the bumper on the rear of the truck.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1341931250.151742.jpg

Well, hit a turkey and busted the center out of my grill, so I've been working on patching it. Maybe I'll figure out the bumper next weekend. Yes I am to cheap to buy a new chrome grill.

Do you plan on mounting lights on the bumper? I built mine, and I bought the lights first so when I made the bar I knew it would fit right

the bumper is cool and all but a bit too square for my taste.. nice work though! fabricator by trade or???

Its getting a few changes. I'm a butcher, but I graduated as an industrial maintenance tech and welder. Most experience came from bosses saying "we need this, build it".
And yes im building lights into the bumper
