Ive got a truck in the shop that the owner is complaining of no power when cold. Its bad enough that unless it sits and warms up for 10-15 minutes it wont even move the truck. The engine sounds ok, no excessive miss or anything like that, just no power. EPBV is not stuck on that i can hear. this farmer wants to be able to jump in it in the middle of the night and go check cows with out letting the truck warm up. I need some help on this one, my searches arent turning anything up for me.

Check basics like stated, check fuel filter, maybe drop the fuel tank and inspect the sending units mixing chamber screens for trash. Is the truck a dually? Ive seen the metal tanks on dually trucks where the inner tank lining deteriorates, flaking off and gets sent through the fuel system, you can usually tell by looking at the fuel filter and see the flakes

My truck does the same thing in the stock tune but if I crank it up to a hot tune it goes away if you floor it for a second. I have 3 injectors that fail the cct and low hpop numbers. Check ICP and DC% and do a buzz test and cct.

had a hand full of codes, nothing significant other than an IDM code. Ran buzz test and only result was an IDM fault. Will swap out IDM and try again.
