Jatro Diesel, which is a fairly large biodiesel company headquartered in a nearby town,opened up a plant here a couple years ago and i think they just started selling retail recently. Its B99, made with WVO(i think). I needed fuel today so i hopped online, and the cheapest fuel around was about $4 a gallon. Called down to Jatro and it was $3.07 for off-road and $3.57 for on-road. So i decided i'd give it a shot.
So far i have about 20 miles on it and I love it! Truck runs smoother, quieter, and its had a really bad cackle that is now gone. Not to mention the exhaust smells pretty good. I've been wanting to make my own bio but i've just never messed with it. But for now i'm planning on running B99 till it starts to get cold, then i'll switch over to regular diesel. So far so good.
