Hey all, just figured I'd check in here as I am hoping to buy a 6.0 this weekend and wanted to get all the info I could about them. The truck is a cclb 350 with single rear wheels. It has 143,000 on it and it's bone stock. The place I want to get it from is asking 15,995 I know that's a little high so I'm gonna see if I can manage to get it for 14. Would that be a decent deal?

Welcome! Where at in western NC? I'm close to Asheville. Sounds about normal for the prices in my area. Especially if really clean! But my opinion is its a little high.

I'm around Sylva. Its really clean. The inside is about perfect. The engine compartment is really clean. Couldn't see any signs of leaks or anything. That's looking to be about the cheapest I can find one.

I definitely try cheaper. Is there really anything wrong with a 6.0 after its deleted and has head studs? Those are the most major things I've read and know about being wrong with the 6.0s

Welcome and I'd also try for cheaper than 14k. You can start at 10 or 11 and see how they act or what they say. I'd look it over real good and try to start it cold to see if it already has injector issues. A buddy of mine was looking at one and told them he was coming and when he got there it was already warmed up from running and kept him from hearing the miss from sticking injectors which wasn't a big deal but it could have been a big negotiation point..

I never call ahead. I went and cold started it and it didn't miss a beat. However I'm not sure if I'm going to get it. When spending that kind of money I'd rather wait and get exactly what I want. Which would be a CCSB with SRW and a manual transmission.

That is what I was always told. Never rush onto buying a truck you semi like cause there is millions more and you'll find exactly what you want with a little time looking.

Yeah, I finally got that through my head and realized that I shouldn't just settle for this one because it's right in front of me.
