New from NY....Econoline info?

To make a long story short, I have a 2000 E350 7.3L and just purchased a 2006 E350 6.0L. Not to get into too many details, I'm trying to find out if it's possible (at least somewhat economically) to swap the 7.3L engine into the 2006? I'd imagine it would require the engine and tranny, but looking for info on what else might be needed (i.e. ECU?).

Is PowerStrokeArmy.com the right forum where I might be able to get some help? I am not overly familiar with E- and F-series trucks and how similar they are (if information found here would be relevant), and I'm certainly not a mechanic by any means.

it would be a giant pita! would have to swap all wiring, motor,trans, computer, idm, and im sure im missing something... whats wrong with the 6.blow?
