Hey all, been lurking for awhile. Bought a 2003 6.0 last May with 141k, now has 145k.

Dealer I bought it from used it as the shop truck for a year, replaced injectors, FICM, up pipes, ICP, EGR valve and a few other things. Has a straight pipe on factory exhaust w/cat, 4" lift and 35s on 20s, ORT bumpers.

Beat around the bush for awhile since money is tight.... put in a stereo, AFe Magnum intake (against all recommendations to stay with OEM lol), PMM coolant filter.

Currently flushing out the coolant (not my DD, so it's a slow process). Going to order a SCT LWTS this weekend and start monitoring my delta, that should point me in the right direction for what needs to be done before loading up the tunes.

Clean OASIS and Carfax (other than "hit something", which explains the bumpers). She has the updated degass bottle, and she runs like a beast, no puking or coolant loss (after replacing the heater control valve a few weeks ago)

Planned upgrades are oil cooler if needed, something with the EGR, ELC once I'm done flushing, and as obnoxious of a turbo-back i can find (5" diamondeye w/ 4" DP, but need to figure out the cat for CA SMOG).

Eventually redo the susp to 6" and eventually 8", on 37s, and regear (currently getting a 1-wheel-peel out back, maybe just needs a drain/fill).

Past truck was a 2002 HD F150. Sold aftermarket parts on the forums and ported blowers to afford my mods. But now I have twice as many kids and this damn PSD is expensive!

E99 F350/zf6/guages/arp/comp/stellite/ billet wheel/ bellowed... Need more fuel and more air.

thanks guys. I've actually been researching these trucks on-and-off since 07 and got cold feet at the dealership to order a new one.

Ended up buying the 02 Harley F-150 for a steal and had fun with that, was pushing 21psi on the stock block and my guesstimate was 500/600 to the wheels. Never put it on the rollers, just datalogged and email tuned. Sold off all the parts and traded it in for my wife's car about 3 years ago.

So much has changed in terms of what was known back then to now. I plan to to dance on the fine line and see how reliable she can be tuned with just proper monitoring, maintenance, and ELC.

Thanks. I don't hate them, but I don't mind them either. Have considered going to 05-07 front end, and 08+ rear, but I'd rather not spend the $$ on that. 05-07 HD lights w/ HID retrofits and HD grille should be sufficient.

Bumpers are by Off Road Tech, which are no longer available.

The heavy front bumper, combined with the camper package rear suspension, are a horrible combo. Front end is a little soft but OK, but the rear end is so damn stiff. Hitting small bumps under low/moderate acceleration makes the truck buck, which in turn jabs the gas pedal in and out of my foot lol. So it bucks even more, like a kid learning to drive a manual. Can be humbling with the 03 whistle and muffler delete.

ha, i have a company car and do about 4k/mo. the truck is a "toy" and i just use it to run errands on the weekends. sometimes i wish i could drive it further distances more regularly, but i make sure to warm it up and let it cool down, and flex the turbo at least once a week. that and the vane sweep tells me she's still working
