that bridge pipe to equalize back pressure kind of defeats the purpose of divided housing. that one piece y pipe looks like its going to be a pita to get in without the cab off.

still interested in some results!!!

Good luck...

The welds on the pedestal look like hell...you have a better pic with less glare?

That was one of the draw back pull the the cab or tranny to get the up-pipes in. But it worked well for me because I already had the trans out to get it repaired. The bridge is goin to be used with a wastegate as I'm goin to spray two stages. I'll see if I can get more pic up of the pedestal kit is already on the truck but I'll see what I can do

It's not a dd more less a toy at the point it is now. From what I was told when getting these that they were tested and if they ever crack its under warranty so I feel good about that. With these up pipe the turbo does not hang on them it sits on the pedestal.

They look pretty, and I hope they work good for you, In for results. IMO, with nothing being there for thermal growth or heat expansion, they'll warp, bend, or crack. That's just my thoughts. I have a friend trying something similar on a 7.3, his cab goes down tomorrow

Im curious why the last cylinder has an attempt at a equal length runner but the second cylinder forward has a 4" runner length? From looking at it, seems like all you will gain is looks. Headers on a diesel are a PITA. I went through several sets before i went back to stock manifolds with a new found appreciation lol

I was wondering that also Steve? Why the big loop for the last cylinder? Looks like it'd be a PITA to install. Why not a set of log style manifolds that have been proven? Headers have been known to have issues.

Yup. RCD, MPD, and the new steed manifolds are all a better buy IMO than a set of headers. That's from my personal experience. I still get sick thinking about the nightmare it was dealing with headers on my truck. Fighting leaks, warping, cracking. They just aren't all they are cracked up to be

If he has a leak right there, it's not going to be fun getting to the bolt to try and get a couple extra turns out of it, hoping it seals

It's really not all that bad to get to from the underneath. I have a set of log style from mpd these are more of a test and tune kinda deal see if there's another opinion out there in the diesel world.
