It's true that compressor size doesn't affect spool up much, besides obviously larger compressors being heavier. So, a 66/68 would spool a lot like a 62/68 or a 64/68, but it would be more prone to compressor surge and operate at a higher drive to boost ratio. IMO, the 68mm turbine is not a good match for the 66mm compressor, unless you move to larger A/R, but then why not just step up to the 73mm turbine, especially with as well as it performs with the 66mm compressor. Really, with 175s or 190s with a smaller nozzle, the extra air of the 66mm is unnecessary as the 64mm should be able to clean it up with out a problem, again JMO. I think it would take 190/75s at a minimum to be able to use the extra air supplied by the 66 over what the 64 can do, and why go bigger with the turbo than you need. I have to say, 190/50 with a 64 would be amazing on the street! Matt's truck with 190/stock (worn out stock nozzles) did run good. Personally, I like a little quicker response, but still pretty good, and I agree, a set of nozzles would help it take off a little quicker. How about some 190/75s and a custom 66/73/.83...
