I replaced my ipr on friday and put in a new pigtail. now before yall say it, there probably is some air in the system still, but anyways: my cel keeps popping up, the normal higher/ lower than desired, and one other icp code, i can get later. But my duty cycle is through the roof, like 95% at idle according to my scanner, throttle.response is very delayed, ttruck seriously is lacking power, shifting different too. Truck has about 100 miles on it since install, am i to guess maybe.a faulty ipr out of the box?? Before hand my duty cycle was high, but not.95%. The only other thing i can see wrong would be maybe got a piece of trash in ipr and didnt.see it.. I dropped new ipr in the.valley, but didnt see any trash. Im lost here guys, never seen this happen. Also with icp unplugged changes nothing, where before it made truck idle poorly, cel still comes on when unplugged

you already answered your own question! when you unplug a icp sensor and the idle does NOT change, it is already running in default mode and the sensor is bad and needs changed.

On the contrair sir, i swapped coils, new and old with new ipr, new coil read 95% duty cycle, old coil read 85% duty cycle. Took apart old ipr, cleaned the internals, re installed old ipr and old coil and replaced the pigtail, and i must say my truck feels like it grew a 3rd nut. if were talking seat of the pants, it was like going from stock injectors to my hybrids, i have permagrin again

if it changes the idle its working. could be a loose connection too and all the wiggling of wires may have helped it... the 1280 code is usually do to a bad icp sensor.
