Just bought my first diesel yesterday. 2005 F250 lariat, 95k miles, 6" skyjacker, 18" XD monsters in 37" toyo mt's, EGR and head studs replaced at dealership, 4" exhaust to 7" stack, SCT tuner with custom tunes.

Plans:
-Remove fender flares
-Get new chrome emblems
-Remove stack and replace with 4" exhaust to 6" tip
-EGR delete
-22x14 chrome wheels with either 35x12.50 or 37x13.50 tire
-cold air intake

Is there any way I can add spacers or something to lift the front more to level the truck out? It's got about an inch or so of rake. Also any suggestions on other motor mods are appreciated.

Truck looks sick man! I love what you're wanting to do with it too. You can check on the coil and see if there is a spacer on there, if not, you can add one.

I think you should get some traction blocks that are a little smaller for the back and add traction bars. You can also run a 36x15.50 Mickey Thompson ATZ or MTZ that would look awesome on a 20x14.

There's no spacer, just the lift coils. What's the biggest spacer I could run? Also I would love to get some 36x15.50's but I can't find them anywhere around here. Also, it has deavers in the rear. No block

Any 2.5" coil spacer will work. Rimzone has them for sure but you could also check with some dealers here on the forum.

:welcome: to PSA! What part of TN you from? I'm from east TN near Knoxville!
I love the wheel idea. I'd personally do a wider tire than rim as I don't like stretching. The 22x14s would look killer!! Buy I've heard they are hard to come by sizes. Maybe you could do a 20x14 or 20x12. But I'd definitely hunt down some 15.50s. Gotta love that wide track!

Good looking truck!!

Thanks guys. What's the best kind of spacer for these trucks? I noticed there are several different types

You don't wanna sell those step bars do you? :poke:

I would like to because I don't need them but the girlfriend wouldn't be too happy about that haha.

I've got quite a bit of play in my steering and the previous owner says they just replaced the pitman arm. Any idea what could be causing this?

Well dibs on first LOL If you ever end up selling them let me know. I'll buy them!

And not a clue on the steering... maybe bushings in the steering? I know the old 80 f150 had that problem.
