New member in Texas

I went to the worlds in Ennis with some friends that were with LJC performance in Waco. We were hanging out early Saturday morning when a guy ( im terrible with names) rolls in with a big smoker on a trailer behind a good looking platinum 7.3 I think. He comes over in a bit and asked if he could borrow a lighter to light his smoker with. None of us had a lighter but I am a pipeline welder and work out of my truck so I told him I could do him one better and pulled my truck over by his smoker and lit it with a torch. He told us how he takes up money from guys on powerstroke army and cooks each year. Well later on I stop by to see how it was going and got to talking with another nice guy ( again bad with names) that had a slick single cab short bed 6.0. I'm not a person that has anything 2wd but I really liked that little truck and bet it would b fun to drive around town. I didn't get to hang out to much because of the rain that had ruined an otherwise awesome first trip of many to these event like this. So I figured I would sign up on here and tell how I got to know about powerstroke army.

Guy with the cooker was Chris. I was not able to make it (again) an hang out with everyone this time either as my pile doesnt even run right now. But definitely a great group of people here willing to help out eachother an talk good sense into one another when needed haha! :welcome:

Yea I been looking around. His SN is mallardslayer07. I believe. Ill have to get with him cause I like to pick a couple mallards for the menu too.

I believe he is talking about Julian (twinturbostroker). He had the silver shorty with the platinum wheels parked by the smoker. Lances truck was parked over at the CP trailer all day
