Sorry for the lack of info!
Ok so I have a 97 f350 it has DRL (daytime running lights)
I did some research and found out that the truck is from Canada apparently it's the law to have DRL in Canada.so in my research I've found a few ways that my DRL could be disabled
1.unplug the DRL module on my truck and take what most guys are calling a jumper plug,****** cap, shunting cap etc.from a truck car or suv of the same era as my truck and just simply plug it in to my harness that's going to my DRL module.
2.some guys are saying to check for a plug that's going to my ebrake bracket disconnect that and ground the wire out I tried disconnecting it without grounding the wire and it didn't work does the wire have to be grounded?
3.was to unplug the harness from the module and look for the black wire with the orange stripe and just cut it tape it and then I should be good to go.
So number 3 made the most sense to me since no one had a pic of the jumper plug that needs to be taken of of a truck or car of the same era. Or a part # so I cut the wire and then plug the harness back in and there's no running lights but now I also have no head lights my turn signals and parking lights work and when I pull the turn signal lever to me my high beams go on but other than that no headlights! Any suggestions on how to get my headlights back?

The module is on the driver side near the radiator, iirc.
Should only have to unplug it, and that's it.
The non Canadian trucks have the harness and everything, just no module plugged in. No jumper I've seen. Just try to unplug it.

The only thing with just unplugging it cancels out my high light and brake dash light. Also my horn and cruise control. I've already cut the black wire with orange stripe that was part of the harness that plugged into the module,so now my problem is no headlights and high beams! Do u know how I can get my headlights back without having the DRL?

After some reading, you're right.
If you want I'm going to the junk yard tomorrow and can pull a jumper. I'll trade you for your drl module.

So I cut the black wire with the orange stripe from my daytime running lights module.now I don't have headlights.the only time I have lights is when I pull the turn signal lever towards me and I hold it there.can anyone tell me how to rewire up my headlights to work again without the DRL?
