Truck just ran over 80K and when I was getting my oil changed I noticed that the shocks are still the stock ones and figured its time for an upgrade. I seen a video on the Bilsteins and I kinda already have my mind made up but I was just wanting alittle more input for the guys here. I know there are all different kinds on the market out there today and was just wanting some other advice on some of the pros and cons of the different ones out there.

Also when I was under my truck teh other day I found out that I have a seal going out of the rear end right at the last u-joint where it bolts up to the rear axle. Ordered the part for the rearend hopefully be in later after Christmas.

Thanks for the help with the shocks in advance.

When the pinion seal starte leaking on my 99, they had to replace the pinion bearing and the ring and pinion gears. If the bearing is going out, which causes the seal to leak, it will start wearing the ring and pinion gears in an odd way. If just the bearing and seal are replaced, it will more than likely begin to howl because the teeth are not fitting together like they're supposed to. Food for thought...
